Yucatán's limestone ground and the salt-laden air coming off the coast toward Progreso take their toll: rising damp in walls, renders that crack, and saltpeter blooming under the paint. We do the building work and the finishes with the preparation this climate demands, from block walls and ring beams through to chukum, lime stucco and Yucatecan pasta tile floors. When the underlying problem is water ingress, we coordinate the masonry with the waterproofing so the job isn't done twice.
